Thankful Thursday

In a world of so much chaos and uncertainty, it's refreshing to take time to be thankful and remember who is really in control.  When I hear people worrying about Egypt, Libya, the Middle East, the President, Japan, and so on I want to point them to one of my favorite verses.  Jeremiah 32:27 says, 'I am the Lord, the God of all mankind.  Is anything too hard for me?'  Thank goodness God's got it all under control!  So as we wait on Him we're left to be faithful and thankful.  On that note I hope my Thursday posts will be an encouragement to everyone reading.

I could post everyday for 80 years and never repeat a thanksgiving.  My family, my husband, my job, ice cream and our great country are some of the first that come to mind.  But this week I am thankful for.....

MY FRIENDS!

Proverbs 18:19 says, 'A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.'  Maybe it's being an only child that makes me all the more grateful for my friends who I imagine are as close to me as sisters would be.  Haley got me through high school, Leslie, Kristin & Lindsay got me through college & now God has blessed me with a new group of friends who I have a feeling will be around for a while:)!  I am thankful that God knows just who you need by your side during different parts of life.  Here are a few pictures from some of our adventures over the past few years...
